Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Location: Remote | Company: Yesim | Format: Full-time, flexible

Yesim is an international eSIM service used by millions of people worldwide. Our mission is to provide seamless mobile connectivity anywhere in the world—without roaming, without physical SIM cards, and without borders. Millions of users trust us today.
We operate in 200+ countries and are currently undergoing a phase of active scaling. We are looking for a visionary and hands-on Chief Marketing Officer to strengthen and scale our marketing function and take the Yesim brand to the next level.

Role Objective

The CMO is responsible for designing, executing, and overseeing the full marketing strategy for both B2C and B2B products.
Focus areas include revenue growth, ROAS, brand awareness, and building a highly skilled, effective team of 30+ people.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Ownership of marketing-driven profitability and efficiency: Gross Profit, LTV/CAC, ROAS

✅ Development and execution of marketing strategy and roadmap for B2C and B2B: channels, budgets, resources, KPIs

Management of all marketing Digital marketing verticals:

Performance Marketing: Google / Meta / ASO
SEO
Non-performance Marketing: branding, PR, SMM, content, graphic design (horizontal/vertical), video production, all social media platforms
CRM / Retention
Marketing Analytics

✅ Build scalable systems for analytics, reporting, and attribution

✅ Lead and grow the team: hiring, onboarding, training, development, performance reviews

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as CMO / VP of Marketing / Head of Marketing in B2C products and startups

  • Experience scaling marketing across international markets, especially mobile-first

  • Deep expertise in performance marketing, attribution modeling, channel analytics, and media planning

  • Proven experience with tools: Google Ads, Meta, TikTok Ads, YouTube, GA4, Firebase, Appsflyer, Power BI, Amplitude (or equivalents)

  • Understanding of long B2C deal cycles and complex attribution; industry background in:

    • fintech and banking

    • travel: flight booking, insurance

    • e-commerce

    • Saas

  • Experience managing brand strategy through PR, banner ads, YouTube, and out-of-home media

  • Strong grasp of brand awareness KPIs: brand lift, recall, impression share, etc.

  • Leadership experience managing teams of 10+ people

  • English proficiency C1–C2, Russian C1 (native level)

  • ✅ Willingness to complete a test assignment
